BIO:

Johanna Peetz, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology at Carleton University (in Ottawa, Canada). Johanna completed her undergraduate studies in her native Berlin, Germany, and her graduate studies in Canada. Johanna’s research includes a range of topics connected to goal-directed decision-making across domains of personal spending, time perception, and interpersonal relationships. Her research has been published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Journal of Consumer Behavior, Journal of Experimental Social Psychology and others. She is passionate about identifying ways to line up actions with desired outcomes, to providing tools that help people pursue and achieve their personal goals.
